MEDFAR Clinical Solutions, the first company to certify a cloud-based Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in Canada (MYLE), is seeking a dedicated Data Developer, Analytics to join our team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining reliable data pipelines and warehouse workflows, ensuring accurate, timely, and accessible data across the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain analytics data warehouse structures and ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
- Automation: Automate data ingestion, schema updates, and integration of new data sources to support evolving business requirements.
- Cloud Deployment: Deploy and optimize data workflows in cloud environments (preferably Azure).
- Quality & Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines, addressing failures and performance issues with root cause analysis. Ensure data quality and observability by implementing validation, monitoring, and lineage frameworks.
- Best Practices: Enforce best practices in metadata management, versioning, and documentation to guarantee data integrity and reliability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with analytics, BI, and infrastructure teams to deliver new reporting capabilities and expand existing ones.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data pipelines, and analytics workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in C# / .NET and strong SQL skills.
- Scripting: Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or similar) and process automation.
- Cloud & Tools: Experience in cloud environments (preferably Azure) and familiarity with modern data engineering and orchestration tools (Azure Data Factory, Databricks Jobs, Airflow, etc.).
- Communication: Fluency in both French and English is mandatory to communicate with colleagues and/or customers across different regions.
- Nice-to-Haves: Experience with large-scale SQL Server, knowledge of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Synapse), and familiarity with data governance, particularly in healthcare.
