Project Engineer Transportation Regina

The City of Regina is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Engineer/Coordinator within the Integrated Engineering Services Branch. This position performs critical engineering duties related to the planning and design of the City’s transportation system, leading analysis, design, and policy development. You will play a key role in supporting the implementation and update of the Transportation Master Plan.

This is a full-time, temporary position.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design & Analysis: Prepare conceptual and functional designs for transportation infrastructure projects. Provide general engineering and analysis during the planning, development, and design of capital and strategic planning projects.
  • Project Management: Develop and manage projects and budgets. Prepare Terms of Reference for proposed projects and manage the review of consultant and contractor work.
  • Quality Assurance: Review reports, drawings, specifications, and plans from internal branches, consultants, and developers to ensure they meet City specifications.
  • Reporting: Prepare technical and business reports for presentations, public responses, internal memos, and other documents.
